Next Capital Management is a Phoenix-based real estate asset management company focusing on investment
opportunities in the southwest regional market. The company and its principal members are currently managing over $175mm of
real estate investments and funds, and have substantial experience in all aspects of commercial, and multifamily real
estate, including raw land, entitlements, infrastructure, development, construction and DIP debtor in possession financing.
The company was founded
by Paul E. Johnson, who has founded several multimillion-dollar companies and owns or controls large real estate holdings. Mr.
Johnson was elected and served two terms as Mayor of the City of Phoenix from 1990-1994, and is currently an active
board member of the Greater Phoenix Economic Council, as well as several regional planning committees. These
positions have given him special understanding of the real estate regulatory, development and entitlement process.
Each of the principals of Southwest Next Capital Management brings unique expertise to the team, and all share the goals
of maximizing investors returns by evaluating and acquiring assets at the right price, while working with counterparties
in a mutually beneficial way.
